The FOAF project is divided into two phases: on the one hand, a professional forum on French as a business language will be held, and on the other hand, each participating alliance will organize a specialized professional French kit.

The opportunity forum

The Opportunities Forum is a meeting place for Alliances Françaises, students, professionals and businesses in the Mediterranean basin to talk about French as a language of opportunity in the job market.

The forum is available online and in-person and supports businesses from different sectors.

The second edition of the French Alliance Forum (FOAF) will take place March 22-26, 2024, online and in-presence events in Malta. For this second edition, we are offering lectures, an outdoor film session, and many other French-language opportunities regarding the labor market.

After the forum, following the various meetings, each participating AF will offer a KIT-Pro, a new way to learn professional French. Each kit focuses on an economic sector and includes three elements: a workshop with 3 educational sessions, a webinar, and a specialized article.

At Alliance Française we believe that culture is always part of education. That’s why every Pro Kit includes a cultural event: it can be a film, a webinar, or a discussion of ideas.

Our events are online, open to the public, and all free!

WORKSHOP

Our professional French workshops are designed to enable you to discover the basics of French in any professional field through fun activities and authentic documents. They are led by our professional French experts.

If your company is considering investing in a French-speaking country or if you are a professional who wants to strengthen your language skills in order to emigrate to a French-speaking country, these workshops are for you!

The workshop includes 3 online or in-person teaching sessions of 2 hours each.

The price of the workshop is 69€. Students or Alliance Française members benefit from a €10 discount!

ARTICLE

We will publish several articles throughout the project on the topics of the different Pro Kits. Each article will be accompanied by a specific vocabulary sheet and various literature tips offered by our sponsor through which you can deepen and develop your knowledge on the different topics.
