Sports and progress (History)
The major events, the little stories in the big story. Representations of the Olympic Games in French culture and media will enable us to discover or rediscover those whose careers and exploits have helped society evolve. Sport may be a pastime, but it’s also the arena in which great social advances are played out, bringing meaning to all peoples.

Sports and inclusion (society)
“Citius, altius, fortius” … “faster, higher, stronger”. And, since 2021, “together”! From women’s entry into the Olympic Games in 1922 to the creation of the Olympic refugee team in 2016, via the birth of the Paralympic Games after the war, we meet the sportsmen and women who make up the diversity of the Games today. Unique destinies and powerful stories that bear witness to the uniqueness of each athlete, their resilience and their ability to surpass themselves.
